Engineered Aero Metals (EAM) is a specialized consulting company focused on the highly engineered aerospace metals market segment
EAM was established in 2011, initially for the purpose of supplying the technical, commercial, and business development expertise for a $3 billion greenfield aerospace materials complex located in China.
This facility was successfully developed and includes state-of-the-art rolling, forging, and extrusion facilities along with the supporting hard alloy aluminum cast houses and aerospace-level testing capabilities.
Since that time, EAM has become a valuable resource to the global aerospace metals market, offering a wide range of consulting services and unmatched expertise.

- As executive vice president, global hard alloy products for a large Chinese multinational as well as president of EAM, Mesh led the “Western Experts” development of a $3 billion greenfield investment in new aerospace rolling, forging, extrusion, and associated hard alloy cast house facilities.

Lijun Du

Lijun is among the very few Western-educated Chinese who truly understands the large gaps between the different government systems, business circumstances, and legal environments – and who knows how to employ that knowledge to successfully pursue business opportunities. Lijun is experienced in creating partnerships and facilitating agreements between Chinese and Western entities, and is well connected with Chinese organizations such as COMAC, AVIC Supply Chain, and the Shanghai municipal government. He has been successful in several US senior leadership roles including the establishment of a large greenfield aluminum engineered products manufacturing business in Lafayette, Indiana.

EAM Senior Associate
John Schneider
John has more than 39 years of experience in the aluminum industry in roles that include equipment engineering, equipment design, operations management, engineering and project management with a focus on processing, melting, casting, and molten metal handling. He has developed extensive experience working for several major aluminum producers and has been involved in major plant projects throughout the world including Europe, Russia, China, Australia and the Middle East. John has extensive working knowledge of refractory application, maintenance, and selection for virtually all molten aluminum handling operations. He has been responsible for, and participated in, more than 125 furnace design/construction/rebuild projects which have included refractory design, refractory selection, construction, and project management.
